The Galaxy Note 8 has been released a few months ago, but this doesn’t mean that designers haven’t released some concepts of how might the Galaxy Note 9 look in the future.

The upcoming flagship from Samsung might come with a ‘notch’ on the top of the display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Concept Image

First of all, the concept image for the Galaxy Note 9 comes from a third party designer, so it is nothing official. This doesn’t mean that artists cannot dream about the future flagship.

The Galaxy Note 8 has been an improvement over the older exploding Galaxy Note 7. And we cannot wait to see what the next one will bring to the table.

However, the concept image released by the YouTube channel Science and Knowledge shows something that doesn’t look like a future Galaxy Note design.

The addition of the notch comes after Apple has introduced it on the iPhone X. As for the next Galaxy Note, we’re sure that they won’t integrate Face ID, since they haven’t confirmed the research for this technology. So maybe the design might be used to house a different hardware, since the trend is to go for edge-to-edge screen, making the notch a useless feature if it were simply for design and not functionality.

On the rear, the video shows that the Galaxy Note 9 concept image will bring a dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner. There is a fingerprint scanner under the display too, but we might not see it next year, as it still is being developed.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Specs That Might Be Features

The same video has added some specs that might be seen in the Galaxy Note 9. The screen will have a display of 6.4-inch and a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. The phone might come with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of internal storage. The processor might be a Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810.

But as for any concept image of a future flagship smartphone, none of the above information will be likely to be used to make the official Samsung phone. The company hasn’t yet confirmed anything. So, we can only dream about the way Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will look like until it gets officially announced.
