iPhone X was a revolutionary one and its facial recognition feature is one of the most important Apple additions. However, the fact that the latest model was so complex makes us wonder what the company will bring next. 2018 is supposed to be a busy year for the tech giant and users should expect iPhone X Plus, iPhone 9 and even iPhone XI.

While these smartphones have not even been announced, there are plenty of rumors and speculations regarding their features. The information below has not been officially confirmed, but it is very likely that some of this things will appear in the future.

The notch is here to stay

The notch at the top of the iPhone X screen is generally disliked by most users. Nevertheless, its presence there is necessary, so it is not very likely that it will go away. The TrueDepth camera system is placed there, which means that the next iPhones will all feature the notch.

Enhanced battery life

While iPhone X has many advantages, its battery life is not one of them. In fact, other iPhones manage to upstage it here. Apple is aware of this issue and it has been reported that the company paired up with LG Chem and they will produce a one-cell L-shaped batter that is supposed to offer a better battery life.

LCD and OLED models

Information from reliable sources confirmed that we can expect three premium iPhones in 2018, and two of them will come with OLED screen, while the third one will have an LCD display.

The OLED smartphones will have displays that will measure 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch, while the LCD one will have 6.1-inch. It also appears that the LCD model won’t support wireless charging.
