For those wondering how to treat themselves for Christmas, a new laptop might be the perfect gift. It is important to have a laptop with good specs and features, especially when we spend a lot of time in front of it daily. Christmas is around the corner and apart from giving gifts to our loved ones; we could always treat ourselves with something we deserve.

Lenovo Yoga 920 tech

The Yoga 920 laptop is Lenovo’s first convertible device and while it follows the same design line as previous laptops, the hardware has been updated.

The device has an eight-gen Core i5-8250U (quad-core 3.4GHz) and an eight-gen Core i7-8550U (quad-core 4.0GHz). The display is 13.9-inches IPS with 10-point multi touch. Under the hood, the laptop has 8/16 GB DDR4-2400MHz and Intel UHD Graphics 620. In terms of memory space it hosts 256/512 GB or 1TB PCle SSD. The battery lasts up to ten hours (4K).

It is not a heavy device with only 1.37 kg of weight and featuring a frontal 720p camera.

It incorporates two USB-C Thunderbolt 3, a USB-A 3.0 and a 3.5mm jack.

Surface Book 2

The Surface Book 2 will be released on the 16th of November and it is incorporates a beautiful design, good gaming specs and productivity features. It comes in two variants: 13.5-inch and 15-inch configurations.

The Book 2 will have a seventh-gen Core i5-7300U (dual-core 3.2GHz) or an eight-gen Core i7-8650U (quad-core 4.2HGz). The 13.5-inch variant will have 8 or 16 GB RAM DDR3-1866MHz, while the 15-inch one will have 16GB of RAM- 1866MHz. The battery lasts up to 17 hours and up to 5 hours when the laptop is used in Tablet Mode.

The device has multiple ports; two USB-A 3.1 USB-C 3.1, full-size SDXC card reader, 3.5 mm jack and two surfaces connect ports (one in the tablet and one in the keyboard base). The price is around 3,300 $, while the Lenovo has a cost of about 2,000 $. All in all, it comes to spec preferences and budget.
