When thinking of Rockstar, the two best and most popular gaming franchises are Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. Both have been successful and captivated a lot of fans that play the games on various gaming platforms. But if you’re one of the Nintendo players, it means that you didn’t get the chance to experience the games on your machine.

Will these two popular games appear on the newest popular device, the Nintendo Switch? It seems a little too much effort from Rockstar to think of making the necessary adjustments to make the games work on Nintendo machines, but we can hope at least!

And the hope might turn into reality one day, as a Reddit game leaker that goes by the nickname DasVergeben has reported that both Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto V might be available on Nintendo Switch. There is a list of games he posted and claims that it’s from a direct line-up broadcast by Nintendo. In that list there is a port of GTA V and there is also a comment that suggests that Red Dead Redemption might also be next after GTA V.

Is The Leak Reliable?

As with most rumors or leaks, we must take them with a grain of salt. In this case, DasVergeben has landed so far a lot of inside gaming knowledge with accurate information that later turned out to be true: he said that Brawler Injustice 2 will feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and so they did.

But we think that Red Dead Redemption 2 is less likely to be available on Nintendo Switch, as it would mean too much investment in resources and money to stream a game that was made especially made for Playstation – not to mention the legal issues that would cause.

However, with Grand Theft Auto V, the leak could be right. The game is already available on different platforms and has so far been reworked and ported a lot by Rockstar. Moreover, it’s the number one franchise in which it would be worth to put some resources into.

Will some of DasVergeben’s leak turn out to be true? We can only wait and see.
