The only thing that Bablu had left was his love for family, and in order to protect it, he went out of the room pretending that he has lost his memory. With all of this in mind, I don’t see a way for his character to be redeemed as long as he is leading the group.
He knows that all the money is gone and now does not have any reason to go back to live with them all which is unfortunate because, for some reason, I liked his character and thought that the family could use a man like him around.
