The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday delayed a case in which the PCC head and transport minister, Botsa Satyanarayana, sought a directive from the chief commissioner of income tax about the expenditure he made for his son’s wedding.

Ravi Kumar Reddy, the state chairperson for the Congress Secular Hindu Forum, filed a case in the High Court asking the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax to probe the specifics of Botsa’s money spent on his son’s wedding in November 2, 2012, in Vizianagaram.

The case was delayed till February 4 after Justice L. Narasimha Reddy asked the government counsel to submit the report to the court.
