Work on defeating the Ender Dragon
One of the easiest ways to fly in Minecraft PE is to defeat the Ender Dragon. This can be a bit challenging since you cannot fly in Survival Mode and you would need that power to defeat this flying monster.
However, you can actually take flight by utilizing a couple of wings called “elytra,” but you can only unravel them if you reach the last zone of the game. Once you have “elytra,” you can easily defeat the Ender Dragon and get the opportunity to fly in Creative Mode.
Look for the gateway portal
Once you defeat the Ender Dragon, you will gain access to two portals, the middle with the dragon’s egg on top being the end portal. But you need to look for the other entry, which is usually close to the edge of the island. It’s a narrow passage that’s normally floating in the air.
Once you discover this gateway portal, you can go back to the End Zone using the same portal that you used on your first run through. You can also throw and Ender Pearl if you have one through the gateway portal because it can easily transport you to the other side where you’ll get access to one of the many islands in the End Zone.
Find and End City
End cities are usually tall individual or group of towers that are creating using yellow and purple squares. This could take a while since you need to really search through the End Zone, but finding an End City can offer you a lot of opportunities, especially flying.
Discover an End Ship
As you’re looking for an End City, you should also be on the lookout for an End Ship nearby. Once you find one, you need to go to the lodge of the boat and defeat the shulker that’s guarding the treasure. You can also use an Ender pearl to get to the boat.
Finally, you can take the Elytra from the item frame by breaking it behind the chest of treasure. Here, you’ll find several Elytras dropping on the floor and you have to take them and get them ready for your chest slot.
