Not long ago, there were speculations pertaining to the release of Dead Space 4 in 2018. Well, you can make your own analysis if this is going to pursue since it has been 5 years now after its last installment was released back in 2013.
A lot of people also had this perception that Dead Space 4 is going to be released this year. However, you can analyze the intervals going back to the first release of Dead Space, which only took 2-3 years. You can recall 2008 was the year when Dead Space was first released. Dead Space 2 followed in 2011, while Dead Space 3 was released in 2013.
Nevertheless, some critics to the game dissented with its sales result. In fact, former Electronics Arts (EA) executive Frank Gibeau stated that it would require around 5 million audience if the company would continue to invest in the franchise. If not, it would just be a waste of precious time, money, and effort for EA.
Dead Space 3 Sales and Reception
Based on the sales ratings, Dead Space 3 only sold much lower than expected. This happened even after it was speculated to become the best-selling title of the franchise. Critics also expressed their concerns regarding the expected release of the 4th installment to Dead Space. This is due to the fact that it has been out of the public eye for far too long.
