The advent of technology has radically changed how we live our lives. Gone are the days when we had to go to great lengths to get information; when everything had to be done manually.
Today, technology plays a prominent part in both work and play. Specifically, one can do both on a mobile phone.
Our phones today aren’t merely for communication. We use them to write an email and periodically check our inbox. We use them to shop from the convenience of our own living room.
But it isn’t just our phones. Our tech-savvy culture makes it so that we rely on more than one device. And multi-gadget ownership has created a need for a file sharing tool that works across all devices.
Xender as a file sharing application
And there are many file sharing applications available today. However, there are a few that distinguish themselves from the rest by having really awesome features. One is Xender.
Xender allows users to transfer and receive files from one type of device to another. This means you can share videos or photos from your personal computer to your smartphone and vice versa. It even allows file sharing across platforms. So, you can transfer files from iOS device to a PC that runs on Windows.
Download and install Xender for PC
Downloading and installing Xender is easy enough. As with most applications, you need to download it via an APK file, like the ones you can find it here.
Below we’ve included some steps on how to download Xender to a PC without the need for an Android emulator.
1. Install the Xender app in your Android smartphone.
2. Once you’re on the homepage, swipe from left to right.
3. Click on the “Connect to PC” option.
4. You will then be asked whether you want to go to “WIFI Settings” or “Create Hotspot”. Choose the second option.
5. Connect to the given WIFI hotspot.
6. Open the given web address in your browser. This will send a notification to your smartphone.
7. Click on “Accept”.
There you have it! You can now use Xender on your desktop computer.
