Xiaomi’s partnership with Google seems to have been prosperous as the Chinese company is ready to release the first Android One smartphone. Mi A1 is to receive a stable version of Android 8.0 Oreo operation system.
The official announcement was made by Xiaomi on the popular SNS, Twitter. According to the post, the update will be released in batches and not all Mi A1 owners will be able to receive the newest Android Oreo OS right away.
The first time the device received the Android Oreo OS was at the beginning of December and now a stable version is to be released.
Those who were lucky enough to have already received the update have posted screenshots of the Android 8.0 Oreo. The update also brings security fixes and it weights only 1107.4MB.

This device has a retail price of $649.99 and it can be purchased from Flipkart or Mi.com. The first Android One smartphone of the Xiaomi company is a rebranded version of the Mi 5X, but without the MIUI OS.
