The newest beta for iOS 11.2.5 has been released yesterday, on the 9th of December. The previous beta version was iOS 11.2.2 addressing the Spectre portion connected with flaw security risks reported earlier last week.

Public beta developers can download the new Beta

Developers can now head to the Settings app, “General” and click on “Software Update”. On-screen instructions on how to download and install the iOS 11.2.5 beta will appear.

The newest Beta update does not bring major features, just the regular bug-fixes and some improvements. The most important one is the fix which reverses the loud sounds appearing on iOS 11.2.5 Beta 3.

Another important update is the “Now Playing” bar available at the bottom of the Music app. This feature allows easy access to music controls and it is quite handy for those who like quick commands.

Apple has been involved in several scandals last year

The American tech giant has been struggling to keep up with several scandals. iOS 11.1.1 was released very fast in November to fix an auto-correct glitch and the Beta 4 update was expected to address an important security flaw.

iOS 11: a bumpy ride since its release

The newest iOS operating system by Apple has started off with the wrong foot. Users experienced security flaws, bugs and other problems. (Ambien) In time, Apple will release fixes for all of them, but for now the most important thing is for iOS 11.2.5 to be a stable system.

iOS 11 came with a glitch which prevented iPhone users to write the letter “i”. “i” autocorrected into “A [?],” or “A” together with another symbol and users were very annoyed. Soon an update was released and the glitch disappeared.
