The original Surface Book was quite a new concept and Microsoft managed to bring a combination between a tablet and a laptop which was really appreciated by the critics. The Surface 2 continued that legacy and it managed to bring plenty of necessary enhancements. Today we will look at its features and see why this device is worth at least a try.

Design

The Surface Book 2 works like any laptop, but its hinge is what makes it special. If you press detach it can turn into a tablet PC, and turn the screen over and re-attaching you allows you to fold it down and use it as a drawing pad. The keyboard is another strong point for the Surface Book 2 and the trackpad is very precise.

The tablet screen also has up to five hours of battery on its own, and you can switch back to a laptop at any point. However, this design also means that the base of the laptop is quite long and takes more space than other laptops, which can be a drawback if you plan to use it while you are on a bus for example.

The Surface Book 2 comes with Windows 10 as an operating system, the Fall Creators Update version, which made the device even more efficient than it was before it.Surface Book 2 has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The device has 8 or 16 GB of RAM and it comes with an Intel Core i5 or i7. The laptop weights 1.533 or 1.643 kg and its dimensions are 232 x 312 x 23 mm.
