Apple first presented the macOS High Sierra version in June 2017 at the Conference of Worldwide Developers. Apple said then that it will keep an eye on data, video, and graphics in order to deliver a platform for future innovation which tends to be more reliable, capable and responsive.

On the 6th of December, the new macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 was launched just after a month of the precedent version 10.13.1 was out, which was also the initial update given.
