Apple has released a new update for its eight iOS, just a week and a half after the release of iOS 11.2. The previous update was a major one and it included bug fixes, a faster 7.5 wireless charging and Apple Pay Cash. Now, there is another update, iOS 11.2.1 and it bring Homekit Remote Sharing fix.

Fixes and changes brought by the iOS 11.2.1 update

The new iOS release by Apple re-enables remote access for shared users. The remote access for shared users was removed last week during the major Homekit vulnerability fix. HomeKit bug allows unauthorized access and hackers could take advantage of this and gain access to private information. Apple responded fast and disabled remote access for shared users. After fixing the issue, the American tech giant released this week’s update enabling HomeKit once more.

How to download the newest iOS 11.2.1 update:

Those who want to benefit from the newest iOS update can download it for free by going to the Settings app. If your device supports the newest iOS, then the simplest solution is to head to Settings, then General and lastly Software update.
The newest update addresses all the bugs discovered since the last major update a couple of days ago.

The latest update does not make everyone excited

Even if Apple is always quick to release bug fixes and bring positive changes, some users have complained on SNS.
