Those who want a premium Windows 10 laptiop for their selves or as a gift should know that there are two outstanding options: the refreshed Blade Stealth from Razer and Microsoft’s Surface Book 2. It is a hard decision to choose one of the two since both are powerful, high-tech and highly portable.

The Battle of Specs and Features

The Razer Blade Stealth is available in one variant: 13.3-inch, while the Surface Book 2 comes in two variants: the 13.5-inch and the 15-inch.

Surface Pro uses PixelSense displays and has 3000 x 2000/3840 x 2160 (4K) resolutions, while the Razer Blade Stealth uses IGZO Touch Screen, 16:9 aspect ratio and 3200 x 1800 (QHD+ resolution). Both laptops use Windows 10 operating system.

The Surface Book 2 comes in different storage options: 256GB SSD, 512GB SSD and 1TB, while the Blade Stealth comes with 512GB PCle NVMe SSD. The RAM Options for the Surface Book 2 are 8GB and 16 GB, while the Blade Stealth comes with 16 GB and Intel HD Graphics 620.

The Surface Book 2 has a starting price of 1.499$, while Razer’s Blade Stealth has a price of 1.699$.

Gaming and general capabilities

Razer is a consecrated brand in terms of gaming. It comes with a Thunderbolt 3 connection which can be hooked up to a Razer Core. The Blade stealth is a gaming laptop with great battery life.

On the other hand, the Surface Book is not a gaming laptop. It targets professionals and creative people, the best feature being its detachable display, transforming the device into a laptop or a tablet with a digital pen. In terms of versatility the Surface Book 2 is the winner.
