What to Do Before Updating Your Smartphone: Sony Xperia XZ / Xperia XZs
Remember to back-up important files and data before you update your OS. Make sure you have more than 1 GB free space for the update.
The size of the update is bigger than 1 GB and should be downloaded through a Wi-Fi connection, if you want to save data.
Check to have at least 60% battery on the smartphone before you start the update, as the process will drain some of it and you want to make sure the installation will go smoothly until the end.
