The amount of evolution Minecraft has undergone throughout its lifetime has been a blast to keep up with. However one of these major changes is not a welcome one as far as some of the Minecraft diehard fans are concerned. This is because the latest updated version that Minecraft has rolled out does away with one of the most loved features the players want about the game.

The “Better Together Update” which is Microsoft’s solution to bringing together players from different platforms in one game is all well and good, however because of the language used to write it, there will no longer be any Minecraft mods from third party makers.

Luckily though, if you still want to play mods you can so using the Minecraft Bedrock edition for the platform you are using. One Minecraft version with a lot of great mods is Minecraft 1.11.2.

How to install a Minecraft mod?

There is a method to this madness that has infected a lot of Minecraft players in Youtube. (Go ahead do a quick search)

It is simple to do and there are different ways to do it depending on the type and version of the mod you are trying to install. You might even have to downgrade your Minecraft version while you are at it. Just remember to back up your worlds before you do anything just in case your computer melts down. (Kidding)

The easiest way to install a Minecraft mod without doing much of the work is by using a mudpack instead. This will come with everything – all preinstalled and preconfigured and all you have to do is start playing.

To drop a few mods for Minecraft 1.11.2, you might want to check out the Ultimate Car Mod for 1.11.2 especially if you are into cars. This mod lets you drive around a Minecraft car of your choice, produce diesel, and build roads.

Another is the Magical Map Mod for 1.11.2 which is a mod that basically helps the player local any generated structure in a Minecraft world fairly easily.
