Nokia users have been receiving Oreo updates for a while and now Nokia 8 is the next in line. Right now a beta update is available for Android Oreo, thanks to the Nokia Beta Labs program. Today we will teach you how to take advantage of this program and get the Oreo update on your Nokia 8 phone.
Android 8.0 Oreo
It appears the Nokia Beta Labs focused on the latest updates and they managed to bring Android 8.0. This means that every person who owns a Nokia 8 will be able to update their Android version.
However, since it is in beta, it probably won’t work perfectly, and you can expect some bugs and lags. If you do encounter this type of errors, it is very important that you provide feedback. Nokia will see what you have to say, and your comments might be important and they might help them solve an important issue. After this phase is complete, and Android Oreo will be refined, the final version of the software will be released.
How to get this update
If you did not sign up for the Nokia Beta Labs, it is time to do it now. Your phone has to be validated before you will be able to receive the upgrade.

Go to the Nokia Beta Labs site.
Select Sign in to get started, and use your Nokia account to log in.
Enter the network operator and the IMEI number
Wait until your phone is validated, and then click the Request OTA button.
