You may want to install the Google Play Store on your device if it is not available yet. This could happen if you have an older version of Android running on your device. Needless to say, it is important to have the Play Store, since it is the one necessary to download signed applications by Google.

Sometimes, the Play Store can’t be available due to the outdated version of your Android device. This means that you have to download the APK file of the Google Play Store and install it after. You can get it by enabling the unknown sources option to be able to download and install the Play Store APK.

Simply go to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources and toggle the switch to on. This will be able to let you install apps from an unknown source. Just make sure that you would turn this option off after installing the Google Play Store on your Android device. This will ensure that you avoid any malware to be installed along with it.

You can download the APK file from a trusted site like APKmirror.com. Simply get the version that would conform to your Android device. Otherwise, you will not be able to install the app successfully.

Just use your computer or a mobile device to download the APK file. Use the browser of choice to download the app you are going to use. After downloading the app, you need to connect your mobile device to the computer via a USB cable. Connect one end of the USB cable to the computer. The other end should be connected to the charging port of your mobile device.

Once the computer detects your Android device, open the location where you want to save the downloaded app. After pinpointing it, you should be able to install the Google Play Store APK file onto your mobile device. Just confirm and mimic the instructions that follow.
