Clash Royale 2.0.8 APK Update
Supercell, the developer behind Clash Royale, has published the update in form of APK ahead of the public OTA (over the air) release scheduled. Therefore, eager Clash Royale fans are required to manually download and install the update if they want to get their hands on it ahead of everyone else. Moreover, the update is designed for Android 8.0 Oreo, but it requires a minimum of Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
New Features
This update contains a bunch of in-game features which are going to make sure that Clash Royal players always have something new to do. For example, Clash Royale will now feature Touchdown, Quests, Gem Rush, Gold Rush and many more.
The aforementioned quests are dailies and they give out rewards and experience. These quests will not only make the game more enjoyable for players, but it will also give them a purpose to login every day. Moreover, Touchdown is a special sporty game mode that doesn’t feature towers.
Free Epic Cards and 2v2 Rematches
Clash Royale players are going to be rewarded with a free epic card every Sunday. The epic card will be available in the Shop menu and it’s given out every other week. Another cool feature that’s being included in this update gives players the ability to have rematches with their 2v2 teammates. In addition, players will also be able to chat with their 2v2 teammate.
