Gmail has a user base of over 1.2 billion users and, let’s face it, every single user has a different need when they’re using their e-mail. If you’re all about work, you will definitely need a lot more add-ons to improve your productivity.

Recently, Google has launched add-ons through which you can complete certain actions directly from your inbox. You can try these next add-ons to either send a text to your co-workers, sign a document, update things inside a project and even integrate business apps with your Gmail account.

The following list of add-ons can be found on G Suite Marketplace or by just going to Gmail settings and choose ‘Get Add-ons’.

Track projects from the beginning to the very end with this add-on. Every co-worker knows what to do and when the deadline is and can check the status of a project. There are teams from Airbnb, General Electric and even NASA that use Asana and they all receive their emails that can be turned into tasks and assign them to team members with a due date assignment. This all happens from inside the Gmail app, with no need to toggle between the apps.

  1. Dialpad

This service adds all means of communication (voice, video, messaging and conferences) in a single place. You can send texts, make Dialpad calls from inside Gmail, view history and save contacts.

  1. Hire

This app will be your assistant when it comes to recruiting or managing the whole process. There are companies such as Brad’s Deals and Lean Data that already use this add-on and they add candidates, view all their messages and can upload all the CVs from the inbox.

  1. Intuit QuickBooks Invoicing

If you have a business in the service market, you will no longer have to switch between apps to send invoices to customers. You can check status and payment right from Gmail.

  1. ProsperWorks

Yes, this add-on will increase your productivity by allowing you access CRM data in Gmail. You will be able to do so many things, like adding new leads, log activities from a call /meeting, vie the activity in your right-side pane of the inbox.

  1. RingCentral

Your co-workers or employees will be able to connect via voice, can send messages inside teams, SMS can create conferences and lots of other activities. You can also see a colleague’s status, view your call history, view/send SMS in desktop mode, from tablets or smartphones or make outbound calls.

  1. Smartsheet

Share projects in no time with Smartsheet! Add attachments or entire emails to new or existing rows in a sheet, import Google contacts to Smartsheet and share the projects. The add-on lets you find emails or approvals faster so that you don’t have to go and search inside separate emails.

  1. Streak

This tool will help you organize projects. It’s a management tool for customer relationship, you can see information on a company, deals and contact details, which you can also edit in Gmail.

  1. Trello

This add-on is a visual project management system that helps you turn emails into a ‘to-do’ item with a click. You can turn subject lines into card titles and the email body will automatically become card description.

  1. Wrike

Manage online tasks and update them in real time with this add-on. Create, view and edit tasks from Gmail, send and receive Wrike comments from your inbox and keep in touch with your team.

  1. DocuSign

This add-on will soon be available and promises a lot: we’ll be able to sign contracts, documents, agreements and whatever is necessary right from inside Gmail.
