Use WhatsApp Web on any computer
If you want to switch from your phone to a computer, you can do that easily, and it works with both iPhone and Android, as well as any type of computer, whether it is a PC or a Mac. All you have to do is open your browser, any browser works, and open the WhatsApp Web link: web.WhatsApp.com. It will be easier to simply bookmark it so you can open it easily, because it is very likely that you will use it a lot.
On that page you should see a QR screen and a message that tells you to “Use WhatsApp on your phone to scan the code”. Without closing this page, take your phone and open WhatsApp. Go directly to settings (the button for it is in the lower corner for iPhone and in the upper corner for Android). After you opened this, tap “WhatsApp Web” and then use your phone in order to scan the QR code that is open on your computer. Point your camera to the screen, and your phone should do the rest.
After the QR code is scanned, WhatsApp should open on your computer and all the conversations should sync.
