Two suicide bombings that targeted the police in Indonesia killed three officers and injured five other on Wednesday night in the capital.
Indonesia’s president Joko “Jokowi” Widodo expressed his condolences for the victims and their families Thursday, speaking from his hometown Solo, Central Java province. He has also ordered a thorough investigation of the network behind the attack.
The bombings from Wednesday night injured five civilians as well. The president has ordered police to “thoroughly investigate the networks of the perpetrators and hunt them to the roots because the attack was already outrageous.”
