In the first official statement released on April 4 by Islamic State to the United States after Donald Trump took office they declared that the country is “being run by an idiot”.
The terrorist organization spokesman Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer said on the messaging network Telegram:
“America you have drowned and there is no savior, and you have become prey for the soldiers of the caliphate in every part of the earth, you are bankrupt and the signs of your demise are evident to every eye.”
“… There is no more evidence than the fact that you are being run by an idiot who does not know what Syria or Iraq or Islam is.”
During Trump’s presidential campaign he has made it clear that defeating ISIS is a top priority. After entering into office, the new president signed a memorandum on strengthening the efforts to defeat the group.
Currently, the coalition fighting ISIS, led by the US forces, is trying to retake Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria from the terrorists, which will be a great blow to ISIS.
