ISIS terrorists have executed 15 civilians in Syria’s eastern Deir Ezzor province. A sharia court, run by the ISIS terror group, charged them with violating religious law and apostasy.

15 civilians were beheaded in front of hundreds of people in the Sabhiya District of Deir Ezzor in Syria after a sharia court run by ISIS terror group charged them with violation of religious laws.The executions come just a few days after ISIS militants executed dozens of prisoners at a detention center in Mosul and executed 6 of their fighters by crushing them with a bulldozer.

Most of the victims were young Iraqi men who had recently been arrested by ISIS militants in Mosul and other parts of Iraq’s northwestern Nineveh province. The executed civilians included at least 25 media activists.Iraqi security officer Zanoun Sabaawi said that ISIS terrorists have threatened all journalists and media activists with execution if they report from areas held by the group.

In June 2014, ISIS conquered major population centers in both Iraq and Syria. Since then, thousands of people have been arrested, tortured and executed at the hands of ISIS militants.
