The prime minister of the Government of National Accord of Libya, Fayez al-Sarraj urged the international community to assist his country in its fight against the terrorist group “Islamic state”, reports RIA Novosti.
“Our Libya needs international assistance in the fight against ISIS,”said Fayez al-Sarraj in an interview for the Italian edition of Corriere della Sera, published on Wednesday.
“IG is a difficult, treacherous, dangerous enemy of our country, but also Italy, Europe and the whole world”, underlined the Libyan Prime Minister. He assured that the group will use any means to send their members in Italy and Europe and did not exclude the possibility that terrorists are among migrants who constantly arrive on European shores of the Mediterranean.
“We must work together to solve the issue. ISIS is a threat to all of us equally,” said al-Sarraj.
