Тхе terrorist group Daesh (Islamic State) claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing on a bus in Syria near the Turkish border on Sunday evening, which killed 35 people, according to “Reuters”.
The bus was carrying fighters from rebel factions supported from abroad.
Daesh has taken responsibility for the attack in a statement online claiming that the explosion killed 50 fighters from the groups Failaq al-Sham and the Nour al-Din al-Zinke.
The statement specifies that the rebels were supported by US groups that traveled to fight against Daesh in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo.
The Turkish branch of CNN Television stated that the explosion occurred at the entrance to a refugee center in Syria, near the border.
According to the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, two Turkish soldiers were killed in the attack. Turkish authorities have not yet commented.
Syrian province of Idlib, where is located the refugee center, is a bastion of the Turkey-backed opposition to Syrian President Bashar Assad.
